A Few More Things To Share

 

Below is the new mantel for the library fireplace.  We originally decided to paint the brick.  After consideration... we decided to keep the original brick exposed.  All of the cabinetry, trim in the house will be crème and the walls will be a different shade of crème.  I think we would like the contrast with the brick.  We'll paint the inside of the fireplace black and re grout the clay tile hearth.

 

 

The French doors were installed that separate the eating area/kitchen from the family room.

 

The second coat of paint has been added to the exterior.  The trim at the bottom will be painted cream also.  The exterior doors will be stained.  I voted for them to be painted but my vote was vetoed.
